After taking down the ball on Sandsjöfors IK's corner Jarl Fransson fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Charles Enström quite easily take care of the ball. In the 45th match minute, Fridheimers Fighters was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Magnus Högman to maneuver through the defense. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Adam Sillén to strike the kick off in the second half. Vilhelm Åman might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jarl Åhman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. In the 56th minute Adam Sillén shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charles Enström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Sandsjöfors IK's zone, Per Jernberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jarl Åhman came out of the goal and Per Jernberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Charles Enström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 91 minutes into the match, Sandsjöfors IK's Jörgen Göransson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Charles Enström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Charles Enström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jörgen Göransson's shot from short distance in the 97th minute.
