An unexpectedly hard shot by Mats Åberg in the 16th minute of play forced Bredbyn RK's goalkeeper Michael Göransson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Albert Hökqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Bredbyn RK booed when Storfors BF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aaron Lind didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ted Mattsson during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Storfors BF's Ted Mattsson got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Stig Grönberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Albert Hökqvist came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Bredbyn RK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Albert Hökqvist couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Storfors BF's Ted Mattsson got a free kick in the 41st minute. Michael Göransson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mats Åberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jan-Ove Nordmark to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes had been played when some careless play by Bredbyn RK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Anton Edström was slow to take the kick. During this time Storfors BF's players had a chance to rest. Mats Åberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Michael Göransson made a huge save. Michael Göransson had in the 60thth minute some difficulties stopping Anton Edström's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Aaron Lind kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Michael Göransson. That made the score 0-1 in the 62 minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jan-Ove Nordmark in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Michael Göransson saved Bredbyn RK from getting behind. Christian Holmgren charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Christian Holmgren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bredbyn RK's Michael Göransson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Bredbyn RK from getting a goal against them. In the 78th match minute, Storfors BF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustaf Björkqvist to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Storfors BF's zone, Stig Grönberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sture Kock came out of the goal and Stig Grönberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 85 minutes of play, Bredbyn RK's Mikael Högman made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sture Kock was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the referee ended the match the Bredbyn RK players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
