Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Stefan Fredriksson got the match started through his kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mats Sundén got free with Sven-Åke Zander in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Husby-Rekarne IK's goalkeeper Sven-Åke Zander, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 10 played minutes Husby-Rekarne IK got a freekick which was hit by Michel Billvall. After 13 played minutes Husby-Rekarne IK got a freekick which was hit by Pål Alebeck. Torbjörn Påk charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Torbjörn Påk the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Torbjörn Påk hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Mats Sundén put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Sven-Åke Zander. In the 28thth minute of the game Stefan Fredriksson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Landvetter's Fred Albäck was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Stefan Fredriksson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Husby-Rekarne IK's supporters rose to their feet, but Stefan Fredriksson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fred Albäck breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kaj Lind recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Elof Håkansson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Sven-Åke Zander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 45 minutes into the match, Landvetter's goal looked a bit too open when Kaj Lind came free, but Fred Albäck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elof Håkansson scored 2-0 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sven-Åke Zander, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Elof Håkansson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Stefan Fredriksson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 56 minutes into the match, Husby-Rekarne IK's goal looked a bit too open when Elof Håkansson came free, but Sven-Åke Zander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mats Sundén received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Sven-Åke Zander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Elof Håkansson in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sven-Åke Zander saved Husby-Rekarne IK from getting behind. Sven-Åke Zander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elof Håkansson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 63 played minutes Husby-Rekarne IK got a freekick which was hit by Pål Alebeck. A hard shot 72 in the game by Kaj Lind from a close distance when the talented Fred Albäck managed to make a qualified save. Landvetter's players were relieved. 75 minutes into the match, Landvetter's goal looked a bit too open when Stefan Fredriksson came free, but Fred Albäck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fred Albäck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stefan Fredriksson in the 77th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mats Sundén in the 82nd minute of play forced Husby-Rekarne IK's goalkeeper Sven-Åke Zander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stefan Fredriksson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fred Albäck having to interfere. Torbjörn Påk was shown his second yellow card after 86 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 86th match minute, Landvetter was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Torbjörn Påk to maneuver through the defense. In the 88th minute, Rudolf Vidman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 92nd minute Jimmie Wennerqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven-Åke Zander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, Husby-Rekarne IK's Fred Albäck threw himself towards the right post 95 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Stefan Fredriksson, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Landvetter fans cheered their team off the field, for while Husby-Rekarne IK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
