When the match had gone on for 8 minutes, Viktor Sjöberg put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Mikael Qvarnström. The audience was convinced that Sven-Arne Petersson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mikael Qvarnström was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. Johannes Hjälm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rasmus Cane in the 13th minute of play. Mats Albom who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 15thth minute tested the skills of Johannes Hjälm when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Rikard Larsfelt fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Runmarö IK's protests and gave Rikard Larsfelt a yellow card for diving instead. In the 16th minute, Rikard Larsfelt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mikael Qvarnström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven-Arne Petersson in the 20th minute of play. Henning Eklund kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Runmarö IK's Johannes Hjälm proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Runmarö IK from getting a goal against them. 26 minutes into the match, Runmarö IK's goal looked a bit too open when Rasmus Cane came free, but Johannes Hjälm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aaron Sundén hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Arne Petersson in the 32nd minute of play forced Bodafors FF's goalkeeper Mikael Qvarnström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Viktor Sjöberg in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mikael Qvarnström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 37 minutes into the match, Bodafors FF's goal looked a bit too open when Viktor Sjöberg came free, but Mikael Qvarnström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mikael Qvarnström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven-Arne Petersson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Rasmus Cane had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bodafors FF's Mats Albom got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Viktor Sjöberg to strike the kick off in the second half. Mikael Qvarnström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sven-Arne Petersson in the 51st minute. If Viktor Sjöberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mats Albom in the 57th minute of play forced Runmarö IK's goalkeeper Johannes Hjälm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Calle Lundgren charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Calle Lundgren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Karl-Magnus Wall kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. After 67 minutes, Sven-Arne Petersson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Runmarö IK and the Bodafors FF players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rasmus Cane sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Johannes Hjälm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rasmus Cane in the 73rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sven-Arne Petersson got free with Mikael Qvarnström in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Viktor Sjöberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mikael Qvarnström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. If Mats Albom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 91st minute, Viktor Sjöberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mats Albom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Runmarö IK had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
