A collision led to Lappträsk getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Egil Rydelius hit a great ball. If Leo Palmquist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 25 minutes in the game, Axel Hamberg fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Jens-Ove Nyberg having to interfere. When Leo Palmquist came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Fjälkinge fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leo Palmquist couldn't finish the play. Stig Wik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christian Kellman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dennis Sundin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Axel Hamberg to strike the kick off in the second half. If Leo Palmquist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 58 minutes into the game, Erik Jönsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lappträsk's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fjälkinge the free kick. Stig Wik made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dennis Sundin in the 72nd minute. Fjälkinge's Axel Hamberg got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Axel Hamberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jens-Ove Nyberg was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. Leo Palmquist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
