After a defensive mix-up in Lappträsk's zone, Birger Ennegren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jens-Ove Nyberg came out of the goal and Birger Ennegren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lappträsk's Dennis Sundin got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Birger Ennegren, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 34 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Jens-Ove Nyberg was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Lappträsk's Jens-Ove Nyberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Lappträsk from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Lappträsk getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Jimmie Fernkvist hit a great ball. 44 minutes into the match, Lappträsk's goal looked a bit too open when Kjell-Arne Nord came free, but Jens-Ove Nyberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dennis Sundin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Birger Ennegren blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jens-Ove Nyberg having to make a save. Lappträsk's Jens-Ove Nyberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Birger Ennegren in the 69th minute of play. Kjell-Arne Nord sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74th match minute, Tråvad IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Börje Vennersten to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Tråvad IF's Tage Trillkott got control of the ball when Dennis Sundin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tråvad IF were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
