In the 10th minute Villiam Kalfhage shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Josef Sjödin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A very good chance for a goal. 20 minutes into the game, Frans Västerstrand was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Västerhaninge's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vellinge FF the free kick. Frans Västerstrand hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. 21 minutes into the match, Vellinge FF's Peter Söderström broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 23rd play minute Andy Haeger came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Josef Sjödin. 1-0. 36 minutes into the match, Vellinge FF's goal looked a bit too open when Villiam Kalfhage came free, but Josef Sjödin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anders Lundström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jimmie Lindman in the 41st minute of play. In the 45th minute of the match Karl Telin sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Anders Lundström skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, Västerhaninge's Frans Västerstrand got a free kick in the 47th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Tomas Salqvist made the kick off in the second half. When Jimmie Lindman came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Vellinge FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jimmie Lindman couldn't finish the play. Jimmie Lindman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Anders Lundström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vellinge FF were awarded a corner in the 61th minute after Västerhaninge's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Peter Söderström took the corner. Albin Flinck made a great header on Vellinge FF's corner, it was just that Västerhaninge's Anders Lundström managed to reach the ball for a save.
