Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Nils-Emil Forssberg started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Vålberg booed when Ödeborg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Allan Wästerberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 4 played minutes, Vålberg's Richard Bergendahl shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Valdemar Kjellqvist came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Vålberg reached it. Georg Odén recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 16 minutes into the game, Magne Kilberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vålberg's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ödeborg the free kick. After 15 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Vålberg! Valdemar Kjellqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nils-Emil Forssberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. After a rather tough play, Ödeborg's Rudolf Lundqvist got a free kick in the 21st minute. With a little luck, Vålberg's Nils Apelkvist got control of the ball when Mats Sandström tried to sneak it across the goal line. During the 30th minute of the match Magne Kilberg completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Magne Kilberg a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. 29 minutes into the game, one of Vålberg:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Ödeborg a penalty, 32 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Kalle Månsson, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Vålberg's Nils Apelkvist. 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Mats Sandström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ödeborg's supporters rose to their feet, but Mats Sandström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nils Apelkvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Mats Sandström came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Ödeborg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mats Sandström couldn't finish the play. Mats Sandström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nils Apelkvist having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nils Ahlstedt stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nils Ahlstedt in the 61st minute of play forced Vålberg's goalkeeper Nils Apelkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 66th match minute, Vålberg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andreas Löfdahl to maneuver through the defense. Nils Apelkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mats Sandström, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Mats Sandström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rudolf Lundqvist kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Stig Asserlind hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Nils Apelkvist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nils Ahlstedt's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. Nils Apelkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nils Ahlstedt, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Mats Sandström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There was no doubt that Ödeborg were the better team. Ödeborg's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
