Hampus Hedman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joacim Vallin, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. If Erland Gunnarsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joacim Vallin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hampus Hedman having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bo-Erik Wallander stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Fjälkinge getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Walter Skoog hit a great ball. In the 57th minute, Joacim Vallin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fjälkinge fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. After 67 played minutes Säve FF got a freekick which was hit by Olle Engström. The Fjälkinge supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Fjälkinge would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
