Vidar Vallman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Magnus Skräddare in the 6th minute of the match. Jon Blom in the 7thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Vidar Vallman, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 22nd minute, Michael Klintæus made a precise shot to the right of Pål Rudberg. Eket's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 27th minute, Magnus Skräddare reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Vidar Vallman. The goal made the score 1-1. Pål Rudberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Michael Klintæus went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. In the 38th match minute, Tenhult was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Börje Målare to maneuver through the defense. Pål Rudberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michael Klintæus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Michael Klintæus in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pål Rudberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Egon Söderkvist hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The Eket players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Tenhult were winning 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Magnus Skräddare was the one to do the kick off. Pål Rudberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jan-Olof Wikander in the 51st minute. Michael Klintæus kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Tenhult's Vidar Vallman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jon Blom in the 59th minute of play. In the 62nd minute Magnus Skräddare shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vidar Vallman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tenhult's Michael Klintæus got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Michael Klintæus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pål Rudberg having to interfere. In the 69th minute, Jon Blom left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Eket fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. In the 73rd minute, Magnus Skräddare hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wilhelm Hjeltman charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wilhelm Hjeltman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Vidar Vallman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jon Blom in the 78th minute of play. Jan-Olof Wikander charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After having played for 87 minutes, Paul Lindqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tenhult's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paul Lindqvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 91 minutes, Börje Målare mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tenhult and the Eket players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 92nd minute, Börje Målare hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 94 minutes into the game, Håkan Svensson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Vidar Vallman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. For all the effort they put into the match, the Tenhult players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Eket.
