Jarl Jonsson started the match with the kick off. Tenhult's Börje Målare managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Jimmie Nykvist in the 5 minute of the game. 11 minutes into the match, Börje Målare had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joar Lindberg. Lerdala's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Börje Målare was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. If Michael Klintæus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Michael Klintæus scored 0-2 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joar Lindberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ivar Kjellman struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Vidar Vallman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lerdala. Michael Klintæus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joar Lindberg having to interfere. The Lerdala players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Tenhult were winning 1-2.

In the 53rd minute, Jarl Jonsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lerdala fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. 69 minutes into the match, Tenhult's goal looked a bit too open when Jarl Jonsson came free, but Vidar Vallman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ivar Kjellman struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Vidar Vallman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lerdala. After 80 minutes, Börje Målare mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tenhult and the Lerdala players grew even worse after the yellow card. Kenny Knutsson kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. The audience held their breath when David Sundberg in the 97th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Vidar Vallman's left hand side. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
