In the 13th minute Philip Västberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lennart Nordgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Borlänge BF's Ludwig Högström got control of the ball when Charles Walroth tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 19 minutes, Leonardo Thidén managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Årsta IK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leonardo Thidén was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Charles Walroth could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Ludwig Högström made a huge save. A collision led to Borlänge BF getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Arman Hermansson hit a great ball. Lennart Nordgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arman Hermansson in the 30th minute of the match. Philip Västberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lennart Nordgren read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. Philip Västberg struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Lennart Nordgren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Borlänge BF. Charles Walroth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ludwig Högström having to interfere.
