Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Sven Borre kicked off to start the match. A collision led to Nordmaling getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Christian Rosén hit a great ball. In the 9th minute Sven Borre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl Hedlund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Greger Melberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orvar Zachrisson having to interfere. In the 14th minute Christian Rosén shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl Hedlund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16th match minute, Nordmaling was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stig-Arne Löfskog to maneuver through the defense. Nordmaling's Knut Tunström got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Tim Nyström fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Edsele's protests and gave Tim Nyström a yellow card for diving instead. In the 23rd minute, Tim Nyström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Greger Melberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Torbjörn Törnkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Knut Tunström came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Nordmaling fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Knut Tunström couldn't finish the play. In the 45th minute Greger Melberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orvar Zachrisson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Greger Melberg made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Nordmaling's goalkeeper Orvar Zachrisson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Torbjörn Törnkvist. In the 55th minute Greger Melberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orvar Zachrisson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Edsele booed when Nordmaling was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonardo Sefastsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. The corner ended in Holger Ek almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Nordmaling's Orvar Zachrisson did a great save. If Sven Borre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Karl-Oskar Holmstedt kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Edsele's supporters stood up full of expectation in the 67th minute of the game, when Holger Ek after an extraordinary solo performance found himself with a golden opportunity in front of Nordmaling's goal. Holger Ek was unfortunally a little to anxious and the ball went outside the goal. Orvar Zachrisson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Greger Melberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Karl-Oskar Holmstedt kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Torbjörn Törnkvist during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Orvar Zachrisson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Greger Melberg in the 79th minute of the match. Orvar Zachrisson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Torbjörn Törnkvist in the 86th minute. 87 minutes into the match, Edsele's goal looked a bit too open when Knut Tunström came free, but Karl Hedlund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 90th minute Sven Borre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl Hedlund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sven Borre might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Karl Hedlund. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sven Borre ran back to his position shaking his head. Edsele's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
