Christer Bergqvist came out of the goal and Nils Arhenius tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Per Lindholms short, quick shot in the 16thth minute got Jan-Åke Nordin to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Vilhelm Ståhlberg hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Casper Ruud sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Casper Ruud had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 36 minutes, Sakarias Fransson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lineol Boys's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sakarias Fransson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Christer Bergqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Casper Ruud in the 41st minute of the match. In the 41st match minute, Hägersten was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Per Lindholm to maneuver through the defense. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Nils Arhenius took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Christer Bergqvist to make any attempt to save it. After 62 played minutes Lineol Boys got a freekick which was hit by Birger Siggman. Snorre Hård scored 0-3 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Christer Bergqvist, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 71st minute Hägersten were awarded a corner. Robert Biörk went to the cornerflag to take it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Casper Ruud got free with Christer Bergqvist in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jan-Åke Nordin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Per Lindholm, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hägersten's Christer Bergqvist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Hägersten from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Casper Ruud managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lineol Boys's supporters rose to their feet, but Casper Ruud was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christer Bergqvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lineol Boys's Snorre Hård got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Vilhelm Ståhlberg came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Lineol Boys fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vilhelm Ståhlberg couldn't finish the play. In the 90th minute, Casper Ruud ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Christer Bergqvist was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. After having played for 93 minutes, Casper Ruud managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lineol Boys's supporters crossed their fingers, but Casper Ruud was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lineol Boys's Jan-Åke Nordin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sonny Haraldsson in the 96th minute of play. Lineol Boys's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
