In the 6th match minute, Brunnbäcks IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joseph Östman to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Elof Mager managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brunnbäcks IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Elof Mager was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vilgot Wennerlund breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 10th minute, Johannes Dahlquist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ingmar Asklund in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vilgot Wennerlund saved Överkalix FF from getting behind. Gabriel Gunnarsson kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Brunnbäcks IF's Jim Busk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zebastian Broman in the 18th minute of play. Jim Busk made an important save on a dangerous shot by Robert Johnsson in the 22nd minute. The supporters of Överkalix FF booed when Brunnbäcks IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrian Friberger didn't get a good kick on the ball. Brunnbäcks IF's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Zebastian Broman 25 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Vilhelm Skytt's late challenge caught a Överkalix FF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vilhelm Skytt helped the player get up and apologised. In the 27th match minute, Brunnbäcks IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vilhelm Skytt to maneuver through the defense. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Brunnbäcks IF's goalkeeper Jim Busk, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Överkalix FF's Vilgot Wennerlund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ingmar Asklund in the 31st minute of play. Johannes Dahlquist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Johannes Dahlquist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Vilgot Wennerlund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ingmar Asklund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Överkalix FF's Vilgot Wennerlund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joseph Östman in the 71st minute of play. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Överkalix FF reached it. In the 96th minute, Adrian Friberger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Överkalix FF were victorious despite being under pressure from Brunnbäcks IF for much of the match.
