When the match had been going on for 8 minutes, Bispgården's Mattias Björkdal got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Alf Göransson. The audience was convinced that Tor Thidén's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alf Göransson was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. Erik Mellberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Andy Johansson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bernt Jönsätt having to make a save. After having played for 19 minutes, Georg Holmberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Huddungeby's supporters crossed their fingers, but Georg Holmberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 21st minute, Mårten Wassenius got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Patrik Biörling hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Ivar Lindgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alf Göransson having to interfere. When Patrik Biörling came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Bispgården fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patrik Biörling couldn't finish the play. After 35 played minutes Huddungeby got a freekick which was hit by André Hökqvist. In the 36th minute Tor Thidén shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alf Göransson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 46 played minutes Huddungeby got a freekick which was hit by Erik Mellberg. In the 47th minute, Mattias Björkdal sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Huddungeby's Alf Göransson didn't even have to move. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tor Thidén stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bernt Jönsätt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mårten Wassenius in the 53rd minute. Patrik Biörling recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Erik Mellberg fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Huddungeby's protests and gave Erik Mellberg a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Bispgården booed when Huddungeby was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erik Mellberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tor Thidén sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Andy Johansson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Bernt Jönsätt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 70 minutes in the game, Andy Johansson fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Bernt Jönsätt having to interfere. Alfons Falk hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. When Patrik Biörling came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Bispgården fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patrik Biörling couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andy Johansson got free with Bernt Jönsätt in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Alfons Falk fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bispgården's protests and gave Alfons Falk a yellow card for diving instead. In the 96th minute, Alfons Falk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
