Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Bertil Stenquist made the kick off which started today's match. Målsryd's Bror Kollberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Målsryd from getting a goal against them. 6 minutes into the match, Bertil Stenquist had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Harry Ekman. La Masia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bertil Stenquist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Bror Kollberg acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 13th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Karl-Michael Carlsson. 15 minutes into the game, Tony Deckbergh was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Målsryd's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La Masia the free kick. After a rather tough play, Målsryd's Tony Deckbergh got a free kick in the 15th minute. Magnus Nordgren hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Magnus Nordgren kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. La Masia's Harry Ekman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bertil Stenquist in the 22nd minute of play. With a little luck, Målsryd's Bror Kollberg got control of the ball when Karl-Åke Alefors tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sten Hedin kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 25 minutes, Bror Kollberg successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bertil Stenquist in the 26th minute of play forced La Masia's goalkeeper Harry Ekman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Magnus Nordgren's late challenge caught a La Masia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Magnus Nordgren helped the player get up and apologised. Magnus Nordgren hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Målsryd's Bror Kollberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herman Larsfält in the 37th minute of play. Torsten Sundberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Harry Ekman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Torsten Sundberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

52 minutes into the game, Herman Larsfält was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. La Masia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Målsryd the free kick. In the 53rd match minute, La Masia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Herman Larsfält to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of La Masia booed when Målsryd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Åke Valström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Herman Larsfält fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bror Kollberg having to interfere. Torsten Sundberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Tony Deckbergh was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 65 minutes had been played. Tony Deckbergh kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Timmy Jansson, 67 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Torsten Sundberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Magnus Nordgren might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Harry Ekman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Magnus Nordgren ran back to his position shaking his head. After 80th play minutes Herman Larsfält shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Bror Kollberg and just under the crossbar into goal. After a rather tough play, Målsryd's Magnus Nordgren got a free kick in the 87th minute. La Masia's Timmy Jansson couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 88th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Målsryd. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Herman Larsfält in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bror Kollberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Målsryd's zone, Karl-Åke Alefors stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bror Kollberg came out of the goal and Karl-Åke Alefors tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
