Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) IFK Mysingsö's Alex Almqvist started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in Fredriksberg's zone, Alex Almqvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thomas Häll came out of the goal and Alex Almqvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alex Almqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thomas Häll having to interfere. Thomas Häll took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erik Sefastsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Fredriksberg's Maximilian Olsmann got a free kick in the 8th minute. Alex Almqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Fredriksberg booed when IFK Mysingsö was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fredrik Elg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Urban Brander hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Alex Almqvist struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Thomas Häll didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Fredriksberg defense, Ted Forsell kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Thomas Häll. The Fredriksberg fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thomas Häll should have stopped the shot. If Alex Almqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thomas Häll showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alex Almqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. If Alex Almqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Urban Brander to make the kick off. IFK Mysingsö's Alex Almqvist got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fredrik Elg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 74 minutes, Ted Forsell managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. IFK Mysingsö's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ted Forsell was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 77 minutes into the game, Albert Mager was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fredriksberg's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave IFK Mysingsö the free kick. Albert Mager hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex Almqvist in the 93rd minute of play forced Fredriksberg's goalkeeper Thomas Häll to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erik Sefastsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle sounded IFK Mysingsö left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Fredriksberg.
