Harry Martinsson scored 0-1 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eskil Hasselqvist, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 16 minutes into the match, Särö IK's goal looked a bit too open when Harry Martinsson came free, but Eskil Hasselqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eskil Hasselqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Per-Olof Sandström, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. A collision led to Särö IK getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Edvin Bäcklin hit a great ball. 27 minutes into the match, Uno Linquist had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eskil Hasselqvist. Särö IK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Uno Linquist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Rudolf Bengtsson took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 41st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Frans Fransson. FC Snake's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When the match had gone on for 44 minutes, Per-Olof Sandström put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Eskil Hasselqvist. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Per-Olof Sandström to strike the kick off in the second half. Harry Martinsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eskil Hasselqvist. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Harry Martinsson ran back to his position shaking his head. Aaron Åström hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Per-Olof Sandström who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 60thth minute tested the skills of Eskil Hasselqvist when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Eskil Hasselqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mats Hagberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 63rd minute, Särö IK's Edvin Bäcklin seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Edvin Bäcklin the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Särö IK protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Edvin Bäcklin had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 64th match minute, Särö IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edvin Bäcklin to maneuver through the defense. Eskil Hasselqvist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Per-Olof Sandström's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. Eskil Hasselqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mats Hagberg in the 71st minute of the match. Olov Backlund could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Eskil Hasselqvist made a huge save. When Per-Olof Sandström came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the FC Snake fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Per-Olof Sandström couldn't finish the play. Arvid Lundström hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. In the 87thth minute of the game Per-Olof Sandström who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Särö IK's Eskil Hasselqvist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Per-Olof Sandström struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Eskil Hasselqvist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Snake. Per-Olof Sandström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eskil Hasselqvist having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded FC Snake left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Särö IK.
