After having played for 2 minutes, Johannes Eliasson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BK Skoj's supporters crossed their fingers, but Johannes Eliasson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Erling Bergström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match clock showed 9 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Johannes Eliasson sped through Sigtuna BF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ivar Falck. When the match clock showed 15 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Johannes Eliasson sped through Sigtuna BF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ivar Falck. Olov Vennerberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jörgen Flinck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22ndth minute of the game Johannes Eliasson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sigtuna BF's Ivar Falck was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ivar Falck stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Johannes Eliasson's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Olov Vennerberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erling Bergström in the 27th minute of play. After some careless play in the BK Skoj defense, Edmund Vallengren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Olov Vennerberg. The BK Skoj fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Olov Vennerberg should have stopped the shot. 33 minutes into the game, BK Skoj's Johannes Eliasson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ivar Falck made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edmund Vallengren got free with Olov Vennerberg in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 43rd minute Johannes Eliasson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivar Falck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Sigtuna BF's zone, Karl-Michael Rolfsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ivar Falck came out of the goal and Karl-Michael Rolfsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Disappointed in the 2-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Erling Bergström was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Christian Eklund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Sigtuna BF's Isac Tolsson tried to score from far away in the 52nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 54th minute, Gunnar Bogren left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sigtuna BF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. In the 57th minute, Magne Gummeson made a precise shot to the right of Olov Vennerberg. BK Skoj's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-3. Ivar Falck made an important save on a dangerous shot by Johannes Eliasson in the 60th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmund Vallengren in the 62nd minute of play forced BK Skoj's goalkeeper Olov Vennerberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard shot 64 in the game by Johannes Eliasson from a close distance when the talented Ivar Falck managed to make a qualified save. Sigtuna BF's players were relieved. Jörgen Flinck kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Ivar Falck went to the wrong direction when Anders Strömberg was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Sigtuna BF's zone, Johannes Eliasson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ivar Falck came out of the goal and Johannes Eliasson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 82nd minute, Johannes Eliasson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jörgen Flinck hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. The supporters of Sigtuna BF booed when BK Skoj was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fredrik Hökqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Johnny Rosen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. BK Skoj's Casper Abrahamsson got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Casper Abrahamsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Ivar Falck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. BK Skoj's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
