Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Agne Vennersten took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 6 played minutes Åmål IF got a freekick which was hit by Emil Malm. Sven-Olof Dahlbom, 6 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Åmål IF's zone, Allan Möller stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Magnus Hasselqvist came out of the goal and Allan Möller tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Magnus Hasselqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Svante Gustavsson in the 13th minute of play. In the 14thth minute of the game Agne Vennersten who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sverige FF's Henrik Magnusson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sven-Ove Bengtsson struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Magnus Hasselqvist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sverige FF. After having played for 32 minutes, Allan Möller managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sverige FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Allan Möller was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Allan Möller had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 44th minute, Sebastian Askestät left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Åmål IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The wind increased when Svante Gustavsson made the kick off in the second half. Allan Möllers short, quick shot in the 51stth minute got Magnus Hasselqvist to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Magnus Hasselqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Svante Gustavsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Henrik Magnusson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Askestät, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ivan Fagerberg kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. In the 62nd minute, Sebastian Askestät got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Magnus Hasselqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Svante Gustavsson in the 64th minute of the match. After taking down the ball on Sverige FF's corner Gustav Bäckman fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Magnus Hasselqvist quite easily take care of the ball. The audience was convinced that Agne Vennersten's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Henrik Magnusson was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. Emil Malm charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emil Malm the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Sven-Olof Dahlbom took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 79th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Magnus Hasselqvist. Åmål IF's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Åmål IF's Magnus Hasselqvist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Åmål IF from getting a goal against them. In the 83rd minute Svante Gustavsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Magnus Hasselqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 91 minutes into the match, Sverige FF's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Askestät came free, but Henrik Magnusson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 93 minutes into the match, Sverige FF's Svante Gustavsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Magnus Hasselqvist narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Svante Gustavsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Magnus Hasselqvist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. Åmål IF's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
