Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Åskloster FF's Ivar Jansson started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 1-0 became the score in the 4th minute when Ivar Jansson elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Kalle Hake charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kalle Hake the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Kivik IK's Kalle Hake got a free kick in the 8th minute. Jens-Ove Bergström struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Karl-Erik Arvidsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Åskloster FF. 10 minutes into the match, Kivik IK's goalkeeper Karl-Erik Arvidsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Martin Paulin. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jens-Ove Bergström during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 11th minute, Jens-Ove Bergström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Martin Paulin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Erik Arvidsson having to interfere. If Ivar Jansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Karl-Erik Arvidsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ivar Jansson went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. In the 24th minute Simon Berg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stig Vidman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ulrik Söderström charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ulrik Söderström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Åskloster FF booed when Kivik IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulrik Söderström didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 28th minute, Ivar Jansson reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Karl-Erik Arvidsson. The goal made the score 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Axel Ahlqvist in the 34th minute of play forced Kivik IK's goalkeeper Karl-Erik Arvidsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stig Vidman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simon Berg in the 40th minute of play. Kivik IK were awarded a corner in the 42th minute after Åskloster FF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Michael Lidström took the corner. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Simon Berg to strike the kick off in the second half. After 54 played minutes Kivik IK got a freekick which was hit by Stig-Ove Wallengren. If Martin Paulin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Kivik IK's goalkeeper Karl-Erik Arvidsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Karl-Erik Arvidsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Paulin, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Karl-Erik Arvidsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joar Damm went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. Ivar Jansson took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Karl-Erik Arvidsson. Karl-Erik Arvidsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-1. Karl-Erik Arvidsson came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Åskloster FF's Ivar Jansson. But to his dismay, Ivar Jansson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-1. In the 83rd minute Martin Paulin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Erik Arvidsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ivar Jansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ivar Jansson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Karl-Erik Arvidsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Åskloster FF's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
