After 4 minutes of play, Ås IFK's Greger Näver made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lars Berglund was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Ås IFK getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Ola Lagerberg hit a great ball. Harald Gråberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tord Vallman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Harald Gråberg ran back to his position shaking his head. Oskar Almstedt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Murjek's Harald Gråberg got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 23rd minute, Leonardo Vikström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tord Vallman was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Svante Stenkvist. Tord Vallman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Harald Gråberg's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. 27 minutes into the game, Bengt Bergström was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ås IFK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Murjek the free kick. The supporters of Murjek booed when Ås IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bengt Bergström didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 28th minute, Oskar Almstedt fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Murjek's Harald Gråberg got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 36th minute Bengt Bergström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lars Berglund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ås IFK's Bengt Bergström got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Harald Gråberg made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Isak Axelsson during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jan-Olof Stålman hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. After having played for 58 minutes, Harald Gråberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Murjek's supporters crossed their fingers, but Harald Gråberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 59th minute, Ola Lagerberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 61 minutes into the game, Murjek's Harald Gråberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tord Vallman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Murjek's Oskar Almstedt got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Oskar Almstedt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tord Vallman having to interfere. In the 78th minute, Oskar Almstedt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tord Vallman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oskar Almstedt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 84th minute Oskar Almstedt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tord Vallman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The excitement rose when Ås IFK's Jan-Olof Stålman after 88 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for Murjek's goalkeeper to hold.
