Hans Söderman made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Sven Mattsson sent off a good shot on target. Edsbruk IF's Douglas Vallin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gandalf Szarpak in the 5th minute of play. 9 minutes into the match, Paul Biörkman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Douglas Vallin. Edsbruk IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Paul Biörkman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gandalf Szarpak in the 13th minute of play forced Edsbruk IF's goalkeeper Douglas Vallin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Douglas Vallin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gandalf Szarpak, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. After 23 minutes, Eric Mårtensson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Edsbruk IF and the Toarp IF players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 23rd minute, Eric Mårtensson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Douglas Vallin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gandalf Szarpak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The wind increased when Paul Biörkman made the kick off in the second half. Gandalf Szarpak's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Douglas Vallin firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 55th minute of the match Bengt Billock shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Douglas Vallin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 58th of the match, Paul Biörkman tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Douglas Vallin got in the way and made a wonderful save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carl Gernberg in the 63rd minute of play forced Toarp IF's goalkeeper Hans Söderman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Edsbruk IF getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Eric Mårtensson hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bengt Billock during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gandalf Szarpak kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 74thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Edsbruk IF's keeper Douglas Vallin was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. 75 minutes into the match, Edsbruk IF's goal looked a bit too open when Paul Biörkman came free, but Douglas Vallin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Toarp IF's Paul Biörkman got a free kick in the 76th minute. A collision led to Edsbruk IF getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Erling Olofsson hit a great ball. Toarp IF's Olov Godholm shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 79th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Douglas Vallin but with some difficulty. With a little luck, Edsbruk IF's Douglas Vallin got control of the ball when Gandalf Szarpak tried to sneak it across the goal line. Edsbruk IF's defense didn't have a chance, in the 83rd minute, when Paul Biörkman scored to the left of an out of position Douglas Vallin, making the score, 1-4. After a rather tough play, Edsbruk IF's Eric Mårtensson got a free kick in the 91st minute. Paul Biörkman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Gandalf Szarpak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Toarp IF played a much better game than Edsbruk IF and deserved their victory. The Edsbruk IF players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
