Axel Bocklund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arvid Bergdal, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. After a rather tough play, Hakenäset IK's Gustav Billing got a free kick in the 12th minute. Sture Säv hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. A hard shot by Kennet Lund from long distance, 17 minutes into the match, got Walter Strandberg's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Östen Helander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Axel Bocklund having to interfere. Axel Bocklund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arvid Bergdal in the 25th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Arvid Bergdal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Backe's supporters rose to their feet, but Arvid Bergdal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Axel Bocklund breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Östen Helander's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Axel Bocklund was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. If Arvid Bergdal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sture Säv's late challenge caught a Hakenäset IK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sture Säv helped the player get up and apologised. After 36 played minutes Backe got a freekick which was hit by Sture Säv. A collision led to Hakenäset IK getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Jörgen Hansson hit a great ball. Arvid Bergdal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Backe's Östen Helander in the 46th minute got a chance for a shot 46th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hakenäset IK's goalie prevented a goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Östen Helander made a kick off. After having played for 55 minutes, Allan Boström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hakenäset IK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Allan Boström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 57 minutes into the match, Backe's goal looked a bit too open when Allan Boström came free, but Walter Strandberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manfred Mellberg took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 66th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Walter Strandberg. Backe's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 67th minute, Sture Säv hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mathias Drewitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walter Strandberg having to interfere. In the 77thth minute of the game Östen Helander who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hakenäset IK's Axel Bocklund was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Hakenäset IK's Gustav Billing got a free kick in the 77th minute. Axel Bocklund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Östen Helander, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Backe's Östen Helander got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Walter Strandberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mathias Drewitz in the 91st minute of the match.
