Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Marcus Dalgren made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 2nd match minute, Diö was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robin Lind to maneuver through the defense. When Kent Ekerot came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Diö fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kent Ekerot couldn't finish the play. In the 12thth minute of the game Marcus Dalgren who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Diö's Isac Asserlind was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tor Strömqvist hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Isac Asserlind came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Skepplanda's Marcus Dalgren. But to his dismay, Marcus Dalgren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 21st minute Marcus Dalgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isac Asserlind saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Diö's Jan Felin got a free kick in the 22nd minute. After recieving a nice pass, Skepplanda's Tommy Hedberg tried to score from far away in the 23rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Marcus Dalgren got in the 26th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Isac Asserlind handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcus Dalgren in the 30th minute of play forced Diö's goalkeeper Isac Asserlind to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Diö's Robin Lind got a free kick in the 34th minute. The referee gave Skepplanda a penalty, 37 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Tommy Hedberg, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Diö's Isac Asserlind. 0-2. Georg Siggesson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Per-Erik Söderlund was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Diö's Jan Felin got a free kick in the 53rd minute. 55 minutes into the game, Skepplanda's Marcus Dalgren nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Isac Asserlind made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. In the 68th minute, Tor Strömqvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Skepplanda's Marcus Dalgren got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 78 minutes into the match, Per-Erik Söderlund notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Skepplanda's Gösta Holm. Gösta Holm was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Per-Erik Söderlund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 85 minutes, Marcus Dalgren mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Skepplanda and the Diö players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Diö booed when Skepplanda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcus Dalgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. Diö's Isac Asserlind proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Diö from getting a goal against them. In the 94th minute Marcus Dalgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isac Asserlind saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Kent Ekerot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Skepplanda walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
