The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th match minute, Hjärup BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bror Böcklund to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivar Giliusson in the 6th minute of play forced Hjärup BK's goalkeeper Dan Andersson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Claes Klintæus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Hjärup BK booed when Filipstad IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Peter Snäll didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maximilian Lange took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Max Kollberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Max Kollberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dan Andersson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peter Snäll, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 23rd minute, Peter Snäll left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Filipstad IK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. With an all-out effort, Hjärup BK's Maximilian Lange threw himself towards the right post 32 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Max Kollberg, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Peter Snäll sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hjärup BK's Emanuel Vallmark got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Maximilian Lange didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alf Tingberg went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score.

If Peter Snäll had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Claes Klintæus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Maximilian Lange showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Max Kollberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. If Alf Tingberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 69 minutes, Max Kollberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hjärup BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Max Kollberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Max Kollberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maximilian Lange was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. Alf Tingberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dan Andersson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Peter Snäll's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. Claes Klintæus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Peter Snäll had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Martin Forsberg during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Filipstad IK booed when Hjärup BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martin Forsberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 81 played minutes Hjärup BK got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Vallmark. 82 minutes into the game, Peter Snäll recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dan Andersson. Peter Snäll showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. In the 87th minute, Martin Forsberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peter Snäll in the 89th minute of play forced Hjärup BK's goalkeeper Dan Andersson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 95 minutes into the match, Alf Tingberg notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Filipstad IK's Maximilian Lange. Maximilian Lange was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
