The audience was convinced that Herman Bengtsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hjalmar Stolpe was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. In the 21st minute, Jan Lundqvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hjalmar Stolpe was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 41st minute, Jan Lundqvist made a precise shot to the right of Hjalmar Stolpe. Söderala BF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. After the first half Storebro were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bernt Åström made a kick off. If Isac Arenius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. Jonny Kjellqvist hit a great ball. 65 minutes into the match, Söderala BF's goal looked a bit too open when Herman Bengtsson came free, but Hjalmar Stolpe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Göran Säv during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Storebro fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 93rd minute. Penalty! In the 95th minute there was a penalty for Söderala BF. Per Botvidsson stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Kjell Skoglund. 4-3. Söderala BF were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Storebro for a fine match.
