In the 12thth minute of the game Uno Kilman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vittinge's David Ånger was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 17 minutes, Holger Wikander mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vittinge and the Mjällby AIF players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 18 played minutes Vittinge got a freekick which was hit by Holger Wikander. Mjällby AIF's Ermanno Di Palma got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Uno Kilman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Vittinge's David Ånger got control of the ball when Uno Kilman tried to sneak it across the goal line. 25 minutes into the match, Vittinge's goalkeeper David Ånger had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lennart Bjurström. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vittinge's goalkeeper David Ånger, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Aleksander Kosmatka struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. David Ånger didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mjällby AIF. David Ånger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Uno Kilman in the 37th minute of play. 38 minutes had been played when some careless play by Vittinge's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Walter Löfgren was slow to take the kick. During this time Mjällby AIF's players had a chance to rest. 43 minutes into the game, Joseph Stalin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. David Ånger was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Uno Kilman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Ånger having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Uno Kilman to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Ermanno Di Palma shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Ånger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. David Ånger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lennart Bjurström, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. In the 61st minute, Uno Kilman made a precise shot to the right of David Ånger. Vittinge's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. In the 67th minute, Jörn Nyström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Uno Kilman scored 9-0 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of David Ånger, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Uno Kilman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Ånger having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Joseph Stalin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mjällby AIF's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
