After a defensive mix-up in Rydsgård IFK's zone, Thor Nordström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andréas Fogel came out of the goal and Thor Nordström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thor Nordström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Bo Pettersson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Paul Eskilsson made a huge save. Paul Eskilsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Lindholm in the 14th minute of the match. Fabian Sundén scored 0-1 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Andréas Fogel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jerry Bagge during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 19 played minutes Kvillsfors got a freekick which was hit by Jerry Bagge. Thor Nordström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andréas Fogel having to interfere. With a little luck, Kvillsfors's Paul Eskilsson got control of the ball when Bo Pettersson tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Martin Lindholm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bo Pettersson struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Paul Eskilsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rydsgård IFK. Andréas Fogel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabian Sundén, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. If Martin Lindholm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Rydsgård IFK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Kvillsfors were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Thor Nordström stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Stig-Åke Albohm hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. The supporters of Rydsgård IFK booed when Kvillsfors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabian Sundén didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 61 minutes of play Kvillsfors's Jerry Bagge was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Kvillsfors's Jerry Bagge got a free kick in the 62nd minute. In the 63rd minute of the match William Stephansson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Paul Eskilsson skillfully saved the ball. If Bo Pettersson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bo Pettersson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paul Eskilsson having to interfere. Paul Eskilsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bo Pettersson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bo Pettersson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 78th minute, Stig-Åke Albohm hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 79th minute, Fabian Sundén got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 86 minutes, Martin Lindholm managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rydsgård IFK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Martin Lindholm was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 91 played minutes Kvillsfors got a freekick which was hit by Jakob Sandberg. If Martin Lindholm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Kvillsfors players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
