After 9 minutes, Jimmy Gustavsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Republic of Jämtland and the Havstenssund RK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jimmy Gustavsson hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Adrian Brenner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andreas Gummeson in the 11th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hubert Andberg in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Henry Valrot prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jörgen Stenström hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Hubert Andberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Henry Valrot was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. In the 28th minute of the match, Hubert Andberg tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Henry Valrot saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Henry Valrot made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Robin Björkkvist sent off a good shot on target. Adrian Brenner came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Havstenssund RK's Andreas Gummeson. But to his dismay, Andreas Gummeson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. 33 minutes into the match, Republic of Jämtland's goal looked a bit too open when Tage Ålberg came free, but Adrian Brenner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kasper Torsberg took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 40th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Henry Valrot. Havstenssund RK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 41st minute Hubert Andberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henry Valrot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hubert Andberg in the 48th minute of play forced Havstenssund RK's goalkeeper Henry Valrot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Andreas Gummeson made a kick off. Republic of Jämtland's Adrian Brenner proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Republic of Jämtland from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Havstenssund RK booed when Republic of Jämtland was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jimmy Gustavsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Henry Valrot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hubert Andberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Havstenssund RK's Henry Valrot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hubert Andberg in the 60th minute of play. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robin Björkkvist couldn't finish the play. In the 79thth minute of the game Hubert Andberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Havstenssund RK's Henry Valrot was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Hubert Andberg fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Republic of Jämtland's protests and gave Hubert Andberg a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Republic of Jämtland's Hubert Andberg got a free kick in the 89th minute. Jörgen Stenström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Adrian Brenner made a huge save. After some careless play in the Havstenssund RK defense, Hubert Andberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Henry Valrot. The Havstenssund RK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Henry Valrot should have stopped the shot. Republic of Jämtland were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Havstenssund RK for a fine match.
