Aaron Alefors kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bertil Samuelsson in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tomas Valström saved Ånäset from getting behind. Björn Hammarbäck took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tomas Valström. Tomas Valström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Ånäset's Tomas Valström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bertil Samuelsson in the 30th minute of play. Tomas Valström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bertil Samuelsson in the 33rd minute of play. Tomas Valström didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bertil Samuelsson went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Johan Mjällby sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tomas Valström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Björn Hammarbäck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Björn Hammarbäck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Tomas Valström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 47th minute, Björn Hammarbäck got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bertil Samuelsson to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Björn Hammarbäck fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 55 minutes into the match, Bertil Samuelsson notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Ånäset's Tomas Valström. Tomas Valström was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Björn Hammarbäck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bertil Samuelsson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tomas Valström came out and tried to block the shot, but Bertil Samuelsson slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 60th minute. With a little luck, Ånäset's Tomas Valström got control of the ball when Bertil Samuelsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Ulf Modig managed to get in a good position for a shot. Granö FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Ulf Modig was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tomas Valström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacco Vorenkamp in the 81st minute of play forced Ånäset's goalkeeper Tomas Valström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Björn Hammarbäck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Björn Hammarbäck in the 85th minute of play forced Ånäset's goalkeeper Tomas Valström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
