Hörnefors's Ingvar Granqvist was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 13th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After 17 played minutes Hörnefors got a freekick which was hit by Tommy Ahlroht. After a rather tough play, Edsbruk's Leo Lundström got a free kick in the 20th minute. Malcolm Melberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ingvar Granqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Olov Olsmann could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Malcolm Melberg made a huge save. Peder Mickelsson kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Jakob Sjöman was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 35th played minute, shot the ball from way out. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patrik Berg in the 54th minute of play forced Hörnefors's goalkeeper Svante Grelsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Johan Öfverman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Svante Grelsson having to interfere. Ingvar Granqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Malcolm Melberg having to interfere. The supporters of Hörnefors booed when Edsbruk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hans Bengtsson didn't get a good kick on the ball.
