Vålådalen IF's Axel Kiempe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Helge Hermansson in the 34th minute of play. Edmund Björk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Klaus Overmars might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leonard Torstensson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Klaus Overmars ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 40th minute Klaus Overmars shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonard Torstensson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Klaus Overmars had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 44 minutes, Klaus Overmars managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vålådalen IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Klaus Overmars was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Klaus Overmars made a kick off. Linus Hegg scored 0-4 in the 51st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leonard Torstensson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Charlie Berggren came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Vålådalen IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Charlie Berggren couldn't finish the play. Leonard Torstensson came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Vålådalen IF's Klaus Overmars. But to his dismay, Klaus Overmars quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. 60 minutes into the match, Tavelsjö BF's goal looked a bit too open when Klaus Overmars came free, but Leonard Torstensson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 61st minute, Linus Hegg reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Leonard Torstensson. The goal made the score 0-6. 64 minutes into the match, Tavelsjö BF's goal looked a bit too open when Linus Hegg came free, but Leonard Torstensson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Vålådalen IF fans' excitement grew in the 65th match minute when Vålådalen IF's Klaus Overmars looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-7 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The supporters of Vålådalen IF booed when Tavelsjö BF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elof Alström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Klaus Overmars sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edmund Björk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonard Torstensson having to interfere. Sune Grönlund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Vilhelm Nordstedt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vålådalen IF's Klaus Overmars got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 95th minute there was a penalty for Vålådalen IF. Edmund Björk stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Leonard Torstensson. 0-10. Vålådalen IF's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
