Helge Hermansson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Karl Danielsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Helge Hermansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Helge Hermansson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tavelsjö BF's supporters rose to their feet, but Helge Hermansson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Karl Danielsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Elof Alström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Karl Danielsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jerry Melander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Leonard Torstensson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 26 minutes into the match, Kärna's Jan-Åke Dahlqvist sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leonard Torstensson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jan-Åke Dahlqvist to strike the kick off in the second half. Jerry Melander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonard Torstensson having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Tavelsjö BF's Karl Danielsson threw himself towards the right post 63 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Helge Hermansson, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Elof Alström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl Danielsson having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 76th minute of the game. One of Tavelsjö BF:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Kärna:s goal. Leonard Torstensson came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Kärna's Villiam Hedlund. But to his dismay, Villiam Hedlund quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After having played for 89 minutes, Jerry Melander managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kärna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jerry Melander was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nils-Emil Svanberg charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nils-Emil Svanberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 92nd match minute, Tavelsjö BF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nils-Emil Svanberg to maneuver through the defense. The audience held their breath when Jens-Ove Wallander in the 95th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Leonard Torstensson's left hand side. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
