The Vålådalen IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Klaus Overmars put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Ingvar Strand. In the 43rdth minute of the game Klaus Overmars who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pauliström's Ingvar Strand was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-7 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Vålådalen IF's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
