Samuel Haströms short, quick shot in the 12thth minute got Wictor Kihlberg to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Pontus Danielsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Patrik Bergqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Algot Bratt in the 18th minute of the match. Samuel Haström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wictor Kihlberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. 30 minutes into the game, Ankarsvik's Samuel Haström nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wictor Kihlberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Wictor Kihlberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Samuel Haström in the 34th minute. Frank Åhlberg kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Ankarsvik's Örjan Klint tried to score from far away in the 38th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. A collision led to Urshult getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Sture Vinström hit a great ball. When Ankarsvik's Kjell Lång, in the 41st minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Ankarsvik. Patrik Bergqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pontus Danielsson in the 43rd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 44 minutes, Kjell Lång took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Wictor Kihlberg to make any attempt to save it. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Algot Bratt was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st match minute, Ankarsvik was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bertil Lundberg to maneuver through the defense. Ankarsvik's Samuel Haström got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Samuel Haström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Wictor Kihlberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ankarsvik's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
