Patrik Bergqvist didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Djurgården United's Bertil Lindholm shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Patrik Bergqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernst Burman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Patrik Bergqvist was a little too slow when Sonny Njurenius got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 7th minute. The score was now 2-0. Tomas Andreasson succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-0 in the 10th playminute. After 12 played minutes Ankarsvik got a freekick which was hit by Bertil Lundberg. After having played for 13 minutes, Samuel Lind managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Djurgården United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Samuel Lind was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Patrik Bergqvist didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ernst Burman went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. With a little luck, Ankarsvik's Patrik Bergqvist got control of the ball when Bertil Lindholm tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bertil Lindholm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Patrik Bergqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernst Burman, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. 25 minutes into the game, Bertil Lindholm lined in a short shot 5-0 behind a frustrated Patrik Bergqvist. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Sonny Njurenius took a quick shot and it went in 6-0 without a chance for Patrik Bergqvist to make any attempt to save it. If Ernst Burman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bertil Lindholm recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Patrik Bergqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Andreasson in the 39th minute of play. The supporters of Ankarsvik booed when Djurgården United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sonny Njurenius didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sonny Njureniuss short, quick shot in the 42ndth minute got Patrik Bergqvist to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ferdi Zati fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrik Bergqvist having to interfere. Djurgården United's Sonny Njurenius got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 7-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kjell Lång stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bertil Lindholm blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Patrik Bergqvist having to make a save. Patrik Bergqvist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ernst Burman's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. 62 minutes into the match, Djurgården United's Sonny Njurenius sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Patrik Bergqvist narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 64 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ankarsvik's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Samuel Lind was slow to take the kick. During this time Djurgården United's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Ankarsvik's goalie and right to Bertil Lindholm. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Ankarsvik's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 66 minutes into the game, Sverker Mossberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 9-0. Patrik Bergqvist was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ferdi Zati sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 71st minute, Ernst Burman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Patrik Bergqvist was frozen by the shot and now it was 10-0. Bertil Lindholm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrik Bergqvist having to interfere. Ernst Burman scored 11-0 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Patrik Bergqvist, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Ankarsvik getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Kjell Lång hit a great ball. 87 minutes into the match, Ankarsvik's goal looked a bit too open when Bertil Lindholm came free, but Patrik Bergqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Djurgården United's Sonny Njurenius got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ernst Burman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Bertil Lindholm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Djurgården United's Ernst Burman got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee ended the match the Djurgården United players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
