The supporters of Älekulla IFK booed when Kungshamn FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hubert Rolfsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kungshamn FK's Thomas Unesson got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 36 minutes into the match, Älekulla IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Thomas Unesson came free, but Arne Bammerman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Edwin Eriksson fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Älekulla IFK's protests and gave Edwin Eriksson a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Älekulla IFK getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Edwin Eriksson hit a great ball. Arne Bammerman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kjell-Arne Wikander went, in the 48th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The wind increased when Jan-Ove Abrahamsson made the kick off in the second half. Thomas Unessons short, quick shot in the 54thth minute got Arne Bammerman to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan Wennerquist in the 58th minute of play forced Kungshamn FK's goalkeeper Otto Flinck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 61st minute, Kungshamn FK's Kjell-Arne Wikander ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Arne Bammerman. Arne Bammerman yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3.
