Birger Bäcklin started the match with the kick off. If Lars Wennerberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Alvhem IK's Jon Melin in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Svärdsjö's goalie prevented a goal. The referee ignored Svärdsjö's protests and gave Joar Hagström a yellow card for diving instead. Joar Hagström kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. The wind increased when Jon Melin made the kick off in the second half. Eddie Kielberg hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Svärdsjö's Inge Tolsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Svärdsjö from getting a goal against them. A hard shot 62 in the game by Lars Wennerberg from a close distance when the talented Inge Tolsson managed to make a qualified save. Svärdsjö's players were relieved. Thanks to some nice moves Lars Wennerberg could shoot a difficult shot in the 69th minute, which Inge Tolsson however easily saved by the left post. The Svärdsjö fans' excitement grew in the 79th match minute when Svärdsjö's Birger Bäcklin looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Bengt-Rune Nord came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Svärdsjö fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bengt-Rune Nord couldn't finish the play. Birger Bäcklin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Egil Skräddare having to make a save. An unexpected shot in the 93rd minute by Lars Wennerberg got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Birger Bäcklin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 96th minute, Egil Wahlström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bengt-Rune Nord in the 99th minute of play forced Alvhem IK's goalkeeper Egil Skräddare to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alvhem IK were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
