Hubert Hamnberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kjell-Arne Grönberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. Jens-Ove Kihlberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ludwig Vennerström in the 5th minute. Kjell-Arne Grönberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kennet Hydén, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Stolpskottet Väsby BK's Jens-Ove Kihlberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Stolpskottet Väsby BK from getting a goal against them. In the 13th minute Kilian Mbappè shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kjell-Arne Grönberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kjell-Arne Grönberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kim Eskilsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Taormina FC's Gilbert Anundsson got a free kick in the 17th minute. Taormina FC's attentive Jan Pååk managed to snatch the ball when Reinard Lambrechs made a throw-in in the 23rd minute of the game. Taormina FC's Ludwig Vennerström got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 25th match minute, Stolpskottet Väsby BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hubert Hamnberg to maneuver through the defense. Stolpskottet Väsby BK's Svante Falkrans got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Ludwig Vennerström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stolpskottet Väsby BK's Jens-Ove Kihlberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ludwig Vollander in the 30th minute of play. 32 minutes had been played when some careless play by Stolpskottet Väsby BK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gilbert Anundsson was slow to take the kick. During this time Taormina FC's players had a chance to rest. With a little luck, Stolpskottet Väsby BK's Jens-Ove Kihlberg got control of the ball when Jan Pååk tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Svante Falkrans in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kjell-Arne Grönberg saved Taormina FC from getting behind. After 38 minutes Taormina FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Reinard Lambrechs who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Reinard Lambrechs almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Taormina FC's Kjell-Arne Grönberg did a great save. If Ludwig Vennerström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 42nd minute, Jan Pååk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 43 played minutes Taormina FC got a freekick which was hit by Evren Özdil. Kjell-Arne Grönberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reinard Lambrechs in the 44th minute of the match. Stolpskottet Väsby BK's Kilian Mbappè got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Kilian Mbappè made the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Kilian Mbappè's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kjell-Arne Grönberg was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. Stolpskottet Väsby BK's Kilian Mbappè got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Taormina FC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Ludwig Vennerström hit a great ball. Kjell-Arne Grönberg made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Kennet Hydén sent off a good shot on target. 57 minutes into the match, Kennet Hydén dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Kjell-Arne Grönberg, 0-1. In the 59th minute Svante Falkrans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kjell-Arne Grönberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 65 minutes into the game, Kim Eskilsson threw the ball into play from the sideline. Taormina FC's Ulf Viberg quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ludwig Vollander in the 66th minute of play forced Stolpskottet Väsby BK's goalkeeper Jens-Ove Kihlberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kjell-Arne Grönberg made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Kennet Hydén sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Stolpskottet Väsby BK booed when Taormina FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ludwig Vennerström didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 72nd minute, Taormina FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Kennet Hydén fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Svante Falkrans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kjell-Arne Grönberg having to interfere. Ludwig Vollander might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jens-Ove Kihlberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ludwig Vollander ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 78th minute, Ludwig Vollander got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 82nd minute Taormina FC were awarded a corner. Gilbert Anundsson went to the cornerflag to take it. When Necip Mutluer came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Stolpskottet Väsby BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Necip Mutluer couldn't finish the play. When Stolpskottet Väsby BK's Kilian Mbappè in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Reinard Lambrechs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kjell-Arne Grönberg having to interfere. 93 minutes into the match, Taormina FC's goalkeeper Kjell-Arne Grönberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kilian Mbappè. In the 94th minute Ludwig Vennerström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jens-Ove Kihlberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Taormina FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Hubert Hamnberg 95 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-3. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Stolpskottet Väsby BK walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
