Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) In the 3rd minute of the match, Rolf Algren got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ove Hake was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. With a little luck, Nils Liedholm IF's Ove Hake got control of the ball when Håkan Ekblom tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zebastian Österlund hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. If Håkan Ekblom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Ove Hake managed to avoid a goal in the 17thth minute, when Storbyns IF's Håkan Ekblom fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 18th minute, Zebastian Österlund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Storbyns IF defense, Birger Kleen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Karl-Johan Olsson. The Storbyns IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Karl-Johan Olsson should have stopped the shot. Håkan Ekblom's late challenge caught a Nils Liedholm IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Håkan Ekblom helped the player get up and apologised. In the 27th match minute, Storbyns IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Håkan Ekblom to maneuver through the defense. The Nils Liedholm IF fans' excitement grew in the 30th match minute when Nils Liedholm IF's Jörgen Bjurström looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 34th minute Jörgen Bjurström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Johan Olsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jörgen Bjurström in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Karl-Johan Olsson saved Storbyns IF from getting behind. Karl-Johan Olsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jörgen Bjurström's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After having played for 51 minutes, Rikard Blom managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Storbyns IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rikard Blom was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Birger Kleen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Karl-Johan Olsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nils Liedholm IF's Ove Hake played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rikard Blom in the 57th minute of play. Storbyns IF's Torsten Frisck got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kalle Norström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Johan Olsson having to interfere. The supporters of Nils Liedholm IF booed when Storbyns IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pontus Waller didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rolf Algren charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rolf Algren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Nils Liedholm IF's Jörgen Rang was substituted for Harry Wennerquist. In the 70th minute, Rolf Algren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rikard Blom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Ove Hake tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ove Hake showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Håkan Ekblom in the 77th minute of the match. Rikard Blom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ove Hake having to interfere. Torsten Frisck hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. After 87 played minutes Storbyns IF got a freekick which was hit by Simon Melberg. When Birger Kleen came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Nils Liedholm IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Birger Kleen couldn't finish the play. 95 minutes into the match, Storbyns IF's goalkeeper Karl-Johan Olsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jörgen Bjurström. When the final whistle sounded Nils Liedholm IF left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Storbyns IF.
