Kvarnbergsplan IF's players were relieved. After a rather tough play, Kvarnbergsplan IF's Christian Wallander got a free kick in the 4th minute. 7 minutes into the game, one of Kvarnbergsplan IF:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Roberto da Fonseca went to the wrong direction when Jörn Berg was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. In the 11th minute, Bollnäs GIF's Aygün Nusrettin ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Roberto da Fonseca. Roberto da Fonseca yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Max Ahlerot in the 17th minute of play forced Bollnäs GIF's goalkeeper Mikael Jespersson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Konstantinos Christakos kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Hannes Askelöf fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mikael Jespersson having to interfere. Roberto da Fonseca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aygün Nusrettin, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. In the 33rd match minute, Kvarnbergsplan IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian Wallander to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Max Ahlerot managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kvarnbergsplan IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Max Ahlerot was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mikael Jespersson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 58th match minute, Kvarnbergsplan IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mikael Nordström to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Bollnäs GIF's Jörn Berg tried to score from far away in the 59th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 62nd minute Aygün Nusrettin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roberto da Fonseca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roberto da Fonseca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stig-Arne Bollström in the 65th minute of play. Roberto da Fonseca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aygün Nusrettin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kvarnbergsplan IF's Roger Hökkvist was substituted for Paul Sundberg. Aygün Nusrettin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roberto da Fonseca having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 83rd minute by Max Ahlerot got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 88 minutes into the match, Stig-Arne Bollström notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Kvarnbergsplan IF's Roberto da Fonseca. Roberto da Fonseca was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the referee blew the final whistle, Bollnäs GIF could leave the field as winners, despite Kvarnbergsplan IF having more of the ball for most of the match.
