In the 3rd minute, Loverpool's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Sven-Oskar Broman fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Sven-Oskar Broman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 7 minutes into the match, Björneborg BF's Karl-Johan Skarkman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Stefan Kilberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Christer Alebom fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Loverpool's protests and gave Christer Alebom a yellow card for diving instead. In the 8th match minute, Loverpool was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christer Alebom to maneuver through the defense. In the 10th minute, Björneborg BF's Åke Röd seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Åke Röd the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Björneborg BF protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Åke Röd had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 11 minutes into the match, Gösta Håkansson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kalle Joelson. Björneborg BF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gösta Håkansson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 14th match minute, Loverpool was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Torgny Jakobsson to maneuver through the defense. Stefan Kilberg was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Sven-Oskar Broman showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 15 minute of play. Sven-Oskar Broman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stefan Kilberg having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Karl-Johan Skarkman kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Stefan Kilberg. That made the score 2-1 in the 19 minute of play. Sven-Oskar Broman took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Stefan Kilberg. Stefan Kilberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. The audience was convinced that Sven-Oskar Broman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Stefan Kilberg was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. If Jakob Alegren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Gösta Håkansson came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Loverpool fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gösta Håkansson couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Loverpool's Stefan Kilberg got control of the ball when Sven-Oskar Broman tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 39th minute, Sven-Oskar Broman reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Stefan Kilberg. The goal made the score 5-1. Elek Datoru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Stefan Kilberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 6-1 at half-time.

If Sven-Oskar Broman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sven-Oskar Broman scored 7-1 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Stefan Kilberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Stefan Kilberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sven-Oskar Broman's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. Loverpool's Stefan Kilberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Johan Skarkman in the 56th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Loverpool's Torgny Jakobsson got a free kick in the 58th minute. In the 60thth minute of the game Sven-Oskar Broman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Loverpool's Stefan Kilberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Jakob Alegren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Björneborg BF's supporters rose to their feet, but Jakob Alegren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stefan Kilberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sven-Oskar Broman took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Stefan Kilberg. Stefan Kilberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-1. Stefan Kilberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erin Skietnieks, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. If Elek Datoru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Loverpool's Stefan Kilberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven-Oskar Broman in the 77th minute of play. When the match clock showed 82 minutes, the score became 10-1 when Erin Skietnieks sped through Loverpool's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Stefan Kilberg. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sven-Oskar Broman in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stefan Kilberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Björneborg BF fans' excitement grew in the 85th match minute when Björneborg BF's Sven-Oskar Broman looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 11-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 89 minutes, Sven-Oskar Broman made it 12-1 with a short kick to the right side. Loverpool's Stefan Kilberg tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 91 played minutes Björneborg BF got a freekick which was hit by Sven-Oskar Broman. Sven-Oskar Broman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stefan Kilberg having to interfere. Erin Skietnieks received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Stefan Kilberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Björneborg BF's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
