If Tom Fridlund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 28 played minutes Venturas Aces got a freekick which was hit by Stig Larsson. In the 29th minute, Tom Fridlund left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FiascoAlabama fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Tom Fridlund's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Börje Carlberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. If Johannes Martinsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sven-Arne Blom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Börje Carlberg having to interfere. After the first half FiascoAlabama were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tom Fridlund to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Venturas Aces's Stig Larsson got a free kick in the 51st minute. Lennart Klemensson made a great header on FiascoAlabama's corner, it was just that Venturas Aces's Börje Carlberg managed to reach the ball for a save. If Johannes Martinsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonny Markusson hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. After 78 played minutes FiascoAlabama got a freekick which was hit by Lennart Klemensson. Jonny Markusson kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. After 94 minutes, Tomas Klementsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FiascoAlabama and the Venturas Aces players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Venturas Aces booed when FiascoAlabama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomas Klementsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. 96 minutes into the match, FiascoAlabama's goal looked a bit too open when Elias Dalgren came free, but Peder Frisk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Venturas Aces fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FiascoAlabama were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
