The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Tim Fredriksson made the kick off in the second half. Tim Fredriksson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arne Johansson having to interfere. In the 56thth minute of the game Claes Almqvist who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Målilla Goif's Teobald Kosiorek was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Målilla Goif's Teobald Kosiorek proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Målilla Goif from getting a goal against them. When Claes Almqvist came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Blyth Spartans fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Claes Almqvist couldn't finish the play. Blyth Spartans's Laureano Cordera was substituted for Claes Almqvist. Saturnino Valente succeeded in the game's 71st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. Blyth Spartans's Xälil Qämbärov was substituted for Kajetan Borucki. Göran Vallengren charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Xälil Qämbärov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Teobald Kosiorek made a huge save. In the 87th minute, Saturnino Valente made a precise shot to the right of Teobald Kosiorek. Målilla Goif's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Blyth Spartans played a much better game than Målilla Goif and deserved their victory. The Målilla Goif players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
