The Blyth Spartans fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. A collision led to Blyth Spartans getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Mārtiņs Reitmanis hit a great ball. 13 minutes into the game, Vilhelm Wennerqvist threw the ball into play from the sideline. Blyth Spartans's Patrick Carlberg quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Ludvig Häger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Claes Almqvist might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anton Brander. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Claes Almqvist ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 62nd match minute, KF Trepça 89 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vilhelm Wennerqvist to maneuver through the defense. The Blyth Spartans fans' excitement grew in the 68th match minute when Blyth Spartans's Kajetan Borucki looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The Blyth Spartans fans' excitement grew in the 86th match minute when Blyth Spartans's Laureano Cordera looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Many of KF Trepça 89's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. KF Trepça 89 may have spent more time on the ball, but Blyth Spartans were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
