The audience was convinced that Magnus Björkqvist's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Folke Arenberg was relentless in the 47th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Stora Höga's zone, Magnus Björkqvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Folke Arenberg came out of the goal and Magnus Björkqvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Folke Löfgren to make the kick off. Magnus Björkqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 59 minutes into the game, Folke Löfgren cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Rickard Wiklund was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Folke Arenberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Magnus Björkqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Göran Alrot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 94 minutes, Walter Jönsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Onsala Ass Kickers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Walter Jönsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Stora Höga were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Onsala Ass Kickers for a fine match.
