The referee showed Ted Lilja the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. AC Sebastian's Josef Magnusson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save AC Sebastian from getting a goal against them. The supporters of AC Sebastian booed when Tranås BF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven-Oskar Wallin didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Torgny Bergfelt got free with Josef Magnusson in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jan-Åke Vennerlund could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Josef Magnusson made a huge save. A collision led to Tranås BF getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Karl-Magnus Lund hit a great ball. 37 minutes into the match, Tranås BF's goal looked a bit too open when August Hedbom came free, but Kristian Sundén reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

After a rather tough play, Tranås BF's Sven-Oskar Wallin got a free kick in the 55th minute. After 68 minutes, Fabian Fågel made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. AC Sebastian's Josef Magnusson tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Jack Billberg didn't quite understand what happened when in the 76 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Magnus Lund in the 77th minute of play forced AC Sebastian's goalkeeper Josef Magnusson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Josef Magnusson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Karl-Magnus Lund's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. The audience was convinced that Fabian Fågel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Josef Magnusson was relentless in the 80th minute of the game.
