Jörn Hellkvist hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. In the 16th minute Kenneth Mårtensson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arne Forsman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26th match minute, DSK Dalir was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jim Sundström to maneuver through the defense. Arne Forsman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gösta Dahlqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. A sloppy throw-in by Jim Sundström in the 30th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by FC Black Label's Jonas Klack. 37 minutes into the match, Jörn Hellkvist dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jens-Erik Forsberg, 1-1. When Per Mikaelsson fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Black Label's protests and gave Per Mikaelsson a yellow card for diving instead. Gösta Dahlqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arne Forsman having to interfere. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The audience was convinced that Stig-Åke Collin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arne Forsman was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. When the match clock showed 55 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Stig-Åke Collin sped through FC Black Label's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Arne Forsman. FC Black Label's attentive Egil Nordlander managed to snatch the ball when Ove Heggert made a throw-in in the 62nd minute of the game. Jens-Erik Forsberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oscar Jönsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Jörn Hellkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Oscar Jönsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 70 minutes into the match, FC Black Label's goal looked a bit too open when Sven-Åke Vestlund came free, but Arne Forsman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 71st minute, Jonas Klack hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arne Forsman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven-Åke Vestlund in the 73rd minute of play. Jens-Erik Forsberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jörn Hellkvist in the 75th minute of play. When Erik Linqvist fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored DSK Dalir's protests and gave Erik Linqvist a yellow card for diving instead. Erik Linqvist kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Arne Forsman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven-Åke Vestlund in the 82nd minute of play. In the 83rd match minute, FC Black Label was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonas Klack to maneuver through the defense. In the 84th minute, FC Black Label's Per Mikaelsson seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Per Mikaelsson the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of FC Black Label protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Per Mikaelsson had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The goalkeeper, Arne Forsman, was totally fooled by DSK Dalir's Sven-Åke Vestlund, who 85 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. When Sven-Åke Vestlund came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the DSK Dalir fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sven-Åke Vestlund couldn't finish the play. DSK Dalir's Jens-Erik Forsberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jörn Hellkvist in the 98th minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. DSK Dalir had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
